The entrance of Disneyland is the greatest entrance to any theme park, I think. To really experience Disneyland you need to be there before the gates are open. The combination of people and the anticipation of the crowd make your day at the park start off right.
So saying that, the entrance to Disneyland is perfect the way it is. The only thing I would like to see is more turnstiles to get everyone in the park faster and more effective. I know you are thinking there is not that much space to put new turnstiles. I think you could take the wheel chair and strollers out of the spot it is now and move it outside of the park. There is what looks like unused space on either side of the enterence that could be used. I think this change would make a huge difference. It would make it easier for the people that need a wheel chair or stroller to get them before they get into the park. There will not be huge lines in the way of people that want to get to the park quickely. There also wont be pandamonium when people are trying to get a stroller and rush off into the park. I think it would work for everyone in the long run.
So just an update, Disneyland is actually changing the wheel chair and stroller area as we speak. We will just have to wait and see what they do, and if it helps or not.
Well I think Disney is looking at my blog now, because they fix my problem now. They took the stroller rental area out into the esplanade. No more clutter in the entrance and you wont have to maneuver around a ton of strollers when you enter the park. Nice job Disney!
